OOOOh so you are meant to be working...

Hard day at the office.... Well editing (what im really meant to be doing) can make way for some super gif fun!

This is my 3rd year collection at its final stage and animated with fun and laughter! LAUGHTER!!!! The lovely Nadia, Rosalind and Silvija having all the fun and patience ever! Thank you soooo much!

Behind the scenes with Holga

Oh a long day of hair make-up and photo shoots i snapped these bad boys... Not as beautiful as the Photographers photos but they have something nice about them.

With Holga

Many years ago I got a Holga camera and was always to scared to use it but now the fear has gone and I have been trying it out. This is what i have made. I like the variety of colour and light and dark but most of all that you have no idea what you will get!

I am going to have a photo shoot this Friday and will use my Holga as the 2nd camera and the photographer has this really snazzy thing that is massive. But no digital! I love the softness and grain and layers you get with film.... Let’s hope we catch some nice images and not just rolls of blank! Ha!

Also the two hilled images are from my home (Orkney) and then the middle image is from Berlin... You cant really see whats going on but hey i like it!

I am a bit pattern mad at the moment... can you tell?

My doodlings, I am very much feeling print at the moment! Very keen to pursue this in the future!

A bit of print

The Camden project print ideas... So I wanted to mix the graffiti I had seen round and about the area. A busy pattern to be seen obscured by my white chiffons and silks. This is one of many that i had thought about, original painted on A1 then altered through Photoshop, no thanks to the Scanners!

This would be the main patter to be repeater.

Here is an idea of what I would be looking for... I think it looks great!

Print

Something that i have always wanted to do and happens to fit with the design brief is to do a repeat screen print....So that's what I have done for my 2nd garment.

This is the Artwork on plastic for exposing the screen.

I wanted to print onto uneven dyed fabric, so here it is. Hand dyed for all the LOLZ! :)

The start was a struggle! I really wanted to make a garment with as little seams as possible and to make it MASSIVE! So combining these two elements makes for an annoying table buddy... haha! I needed a lot of space and my friend were very kind and tolerant!

So as you can see its for all the boys and girls! I think it looks great on both these dude!!

 Just a few wee finishing touches and we are ready to rock!!! 2nd garment here we come!
